Job Summary or Overview of the Role

As a Data Analyst Promotions - EU, your responsibilities will be to provide support in all matters related to promotional campaigns analysis in EU.

The data analyst role will harvest data across all Vista’s portfolio, developing, maintaining and running solutions to provide actionable insights supporting decision making; ensuring the optimal discounts for our global customers covering 15 countries in EU through close collaboration with Product, Pricing, Promotions, Shipping, and Marketing partners.

Two concrete examples that require immediate attention are:

• Optimal discounts recommendations
• Impact estimates of promotional campaigns

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Promotions team members focusing on campaigns, discount levels and competitive positioning.
• Use of software to monitor competitor products, prices, promotions and ad hoc campaigns.
• Work with Promotions team members to identify how to make the data useful to the business and what reports need to be constructed.
• Assisting in managing daily team workflows and priorities to ensure increments and deadlines are met.

Daily Duties

• Support promotions experts managing daily team workflows and priorities to ensure increments and deadlines are met.
• Support performance tracking of campaigns and impact estimate calculations.
• Support focused sessions and analysis of promotions topics.
• Support roadmap implementation for promo optimization and testing for EU.
• Develop a deep understanding of our promotional campaign framework and supporting systems to improve promotional processes for EU.

The role will receive direct support/mentorship of the Promotions Lead - EU as needed.

Skills

• Passion for working with data and automating data processes.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills.
• Motivated by learning and applying new tools and techniques to their work.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, or equivalent job experience and technical training.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with Looker.
• Desirable experience in SQL and Snowflake.
• Desirable experience in Python.
• Extremely organized and with the ability to work on high impact initiatives that require careful attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative and have high level of ownership.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet competing deadlines.
• Native or fluent English skills
